New Street Mall

Office & Retail Development:

New Street Mall was the first commercial development of significant scale to be completed in Malahide after an initial supermarket development almost 20 years previously. Generally older terraced houses had been converted on an individual basis to provide office and retail units.

The development comprised of 17 retail units, 8 of which were located on two levels around a glazed atrium and office space totalling 17,000 ft.²on two levels over the retail units. Financing for a speculative project, without an anchor tenant, was difficult and the project was designed to be constructed and completed in a number of distinct phases.

McMullan & Co were involved in assembling the site, developing the concept, provided the full range of project and cost management services and obtained statutory approvals and compliance.
