McMullan & Co was founded by its principal, Sean McMullan, over 30 years ago. Sean’s background and experience in master planning and infrastructure development has led to the creation of a number of landmark developments: Malahide Marina (1989), Northwood, Santry (2002) and Tullynaskeagh County Down, a large-scale ground mounted solar PV development, (2014). These developments were the first of their type and scale in Ireland and consent was obtained without objections or local community planning appeals due to in-depth consultations with the relevant local authorities and communities.
Our basic philosophy and approach is to identify at the outset the factors which may be critical to a project’s implementation or feasibility and ensure that appropriately qualified expertise is employed. We ensure that concepts and ensuing designs are presented clearly and communicated effectively to all stakeholders. This approach has resulted in our successful delivery of many small to a large-scale high quality projects over a range of sectors.
Whether we are the sole consultant or working within a large project team, we maintain a strategic involvement in the overall design, planning and construction management to ensure that the projects are delivered to the desired quality on time and within budget.
